The legendary HipHop group Naughty by Nature made an unbelievable performance for the Bulgarian audience in “Universiada Hall”.
The two MCs – Treach & Vinnie performed most of the legendary tracks from the 90s, which brought beautiful memories from the golden era of rap music.
Part of the set were hit singles like “Everything is gonna be alright”, which includes a sample of Boney M’s song with the same title & O.P.P., which made every single person in the crowd jump.
Naughty by Nature came to Bulgaria without the legendary beatmaker/producer – DJ KAY GEE, but he’s supposed to produce the new album of the group. Instead behind the wheels of steel DJ Twin from the WonderTwinz rocked the crowd.
Dj Phat Phillie from Zagreb showed how a live act is supposed to be warmed up.
The performance of “Hip Hop Hooray” brought the crowd to ecstasy and made the 15 years wait worth.
The group is a winner of a Grammy award for best rap album in 95’. For Poverty’s paradise. The album includes the hit singles “Craziest”, “Feel Me Flow”, “The Chain Remains”, “Clap Ya Handz” и „Hang Out and Hustle”.
The discography of Naughty by nature includes six albums. The last one from 2002 is titled “Icons”. Being part of Queen Latifah’s Flavour Unit MC’s – the group participates in several side projects.
The track “Uptown Anthem”, part of the “Juice” OST made a huge impact in the charts. Featured cameo in the video to the song is the young Tupac Shakur.
